JOB SUMMARY:

The Concrete Laborer supports concrete demolition and installation activities including flatwork, curbs, equipment pads, and slab-on-grade placements. Some work will follow plans and specifications, while other tasks are laid out and field-engineered by the Foreman. This role assists with forming, reinforcement, placement, finishing, cleanup, and masonry support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with site prep and demolition of existing materials.
  • Support forming, rebar installation, and concrete placement.
  • Perform tasks based on plans or field layout direction from the Foreman.
  • Operate small tools such as demo saws, compactors, and mixers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
  • Assist with masonry tasks such as mixing mortar or staging materials.
  • Support back filling, compaction, and post-pour cleanup.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
MINIMUM

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Basic understanding of concrete tools and equipment.
  • Ability to take direction and learn new skills.
  • Good work ethic and communication skills.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ year concrete labor experience.
