As an Assistant Superintendent, you'll be responsible for assisting in supervising the entire site, managing subcontractors, and overseeing the construction process. You'll ensure a safe work environment, inspect subcontractor work, document progress, and complete tasks not contracted out.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Supervise contractor work and quality
- Match invoices to properties
- Conduct site inspections for trash, OSHA concerns, and erosion control
- Lead weekly safety meetings and coordinate schedules with subcontractors
- Perform punch-outs of finished units
- Install mailboxes, bike racks, signage, etc., when not contracted out
- Assist the superintendent as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong language, math, and reasoning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
- Ability to read a tape measure and use a level
