Merchco Services is looking for an experienced Traveling Site Superintendent to join our growing commercial construction team.

As a Traveling Site Superintendent, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day field operations for retail construction projects throughout the United States.

Typical projects range from $100,000 to $1 million and run 4–12 weeks
, including:

• Retail remodels
• Tenant improvements
• Open-store remodels
• Other commercial retail construction projects

Depending on the account, you’ll manage subcontractors and multiple trades, self-perform portions of the work, or do a combination of both.

We’re looking for a construction professional who can take ownership of a jobsite and earn the confidence of customers, subcontractors, and our project team.

• 5+ years of commercial construction supervision experience.
• Retail construction, remodel, or tenant improvement experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Commitment to quality and jobsite safety.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with Project Managers.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide 90%–100%.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by air and vehicle.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
