Thisisahands-onleadershiproleresponsibleforensuringconstructionactivitiesmeetcontractrequirements,approvedplansandspecifications,government standards,OSHA requirements,andHHI’shighstandardsforqualityandsafety.

federalconstructionQCprofessional
withastrongunderstandingofUSACEorsimilargovernmentprojects,CQCrequirements,Three-Phase Control,RMS/QCS,andgovernmentdocumentation.

Managers,Superintendents,subcontractors,inspectors,and Governmentrepresentativestoidentifyissuesearly,maintain compliance,andkeepprojectsmoving.

• Leadandmanagetheproject
  Contractor Quality Control (CQC) program
  .
• Develop,implement,andmaintainthe
  
  Project Quality Control Plan (QCP).
• Conductroutinesiteinspectionsandidentify,document,andcorrectdeficientornon-conforming work.
• Lead
  Three-Phase Control Meetings ,including
  
  Preparatory,Initial,and Follow-Upphases.
• Monitorconstructionactivitiesforcompliancewithcontractdocuments,plans,specifications,approvedsubmittals,andapplicableregulations.
• PrepareandmaintainrequiredQCdocumentation,reports,logs,and Government submissions.
• Reviewandtracksubmittalstoensurecompliancebefore Government submission.
• Trackdeficienciesandcorrectiveactionsthroughcompletion.
• Coordinate inspections,testing,third-party laboratories,commissioning agents,and Government inspectors.
• Enforceprojectsafetyrequirementsandsupportcompliancewith
  OSHA,EM385-1-1,and project-specificsafetyplans.
• Conductandcoordinaterequiredqualityandsafetytraining.
• Leadmishapinvestigationsandcompleterequiredreporting.
• Participateinpreparatory,pre-installation,and Governmentcoordinationmeetings.
• Workcloselywith Project Managers ,Superintendents,subcontractors,andfieldpersonneltoresolvequalityissueswithoutunnecessarilydelayingprogress.
• Supportprojectcloseout,including punchlists,as-builts,warranties,O&Mmanuals,andfinaldocumentation.
• Maintainprofessionalworkingrelationshipswith Government representatives,owners,inspectors,subcontractors,andprojectstakeholders.

• Bachelor’sdegreein
  Construction Management,Engineering,orrelatedfield
  .
• 10+yearsofconstructionexperience
  ,includingatleast
  2yearsasa
  
  Primary Quality Control Manageronfederalconstructionprojects .
• Demonstratedexperiencewith
  USACE,NAVFAC,VA,orsimilarfederalprojects
  .
• Successfullycompletedatleastoneconstructionprojectvaluedat$8millionorgreater
  .
• Experienceonprojectsexceeding
  10,000squarefeet
  .
• OSHA
  30-Hour Construction Safetytraininganddemonstratedknowledgeof EM385-1-1.
• Workingknowledgeof
  RMS/QCSand Governmentelectronicreportingsystems .
• Strongabilitytoread,interpret,andenforceplans,specifications,andapprovedsubmittals.
• Experience with
  Bluebeamand Procore
  orsimilarconstructionmanagementplatforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Wordand Excel .
• Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills,including professional
  
  Government correspondence.
• Strong organization,documentation,time-management,and problem-solving skills.
• Mustmeetapplicable
  Governmentsecurityclearancerequirements
  .
• Mustpassapre-employmentdrugscreening.
• Valid driver’slicensewithanacceptabledrivingrecordandabilitytomeetcompanyinsurancerequirements.
• Abilitytoliftupto
  50lbs.andperformfieldinspectionsinactiveconstructionenvironments.
• Dependable,ethical,professional,andabletoworkeffectivelywithmultipletradesandprojectstakeholders.
