Scott Humphrey has partnered with a respected and growing Commercial General Contractor in Dallas that is seeking a Commercial Superintendent to lead high-end Class A Corporate Interiors, Tenant Improvement (TI), and office build-out projects throughout the Houston market. About

the Role

The Superintendent will oversee all day-to-day field operations for Class A Corporate Interiors projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This individual will coordinate subcontractors, manage project logistics, maintain client relationships, and serve as the primary field representative of the General Contractor throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily field operations for Class A Corporate Interiors, Tenant Improvement (TI), and commercial office build-out projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring proper sequencing, productivity, and quality execution.
  • Maintain project schedules and proactively identify potential impacts to project milestones.
  • Enforce jobsite safety standards and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Collaborate with owners, architects, project managers, consultants, and trade partners to ensure project success.
  • Conduct daily site inspections, walkthroughs, and coordination meetings.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, safety records, punch lists, and field logs.
  • Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Manage occupied-space construction activities while minimizing disruption to client operations.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience managing Class A Corporate Interiors, Tenant Improvement (TI), and commercial office build-out projects
    .
  • Strong understanding of interior finishes, MEP coordination, workplace renovations, and occupied-space construction.
  • Proven ability to manage project schedules, subcontractors, quality control, and safety programs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a professional, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and trade partners.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and construction scheduling software.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, permitting requirements, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.
