Merit Commercial Real Estate is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. This role is for a designer with experience and strong fundamentals to work in a collaborative environment for a fast-growing brand.

You’ll work on a wide range of projects across print and digital, collaborate closely with marketing partners, and play an active role in shaping how the Merit brand shows up in the world. This position offers real ownership, creative responsibility, and room to grow.

• Design high-quality creative assets across print and digital channels, including campaigns, brochures, presentations, email, web assets, social graphics, and event materials
• Work within established brand guidelines while helping evolve and expand them over time
• Contribute ideas and visual concepts, not just execution
• Manage multiple projects with attention to quality, detail, and deadlines
• Collaborate with marketing team and stakeholders throughout the design process
• Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining strong design judgment
• Keep files organized and work production-ready

• Professional experience producing marketing or brand design work
• Strong fundamentals in layout, typography, hierarchy, and visual storytelling
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
• Experience designing for both print and digital environments
• Ability to work independently while collaborating well with a team
• Thoughtful, clear communication and follow-through
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong execution and evolving creative thinking

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience working in an in-house, agency, or freelance environment
• Able to work in San Antonio, Texas

• Skillsets outside of traditional graphic design like video editing, motion graphics, 3D rendering, HTML, etc.
