Still Photographer, Marketing

Responsibilities:
The H-E-B Creative Studio captures the look and feel of our brand through high-quality photography, creating visual assets that connect with customers and elevate our campaigns across channels.

The Still Photographer role combines technical expertise, visual craft, and operational rigor to produce on-brand, strategically aligned, and production-ready still imagery. This role is responsible for delivering photography that works across digital, in-store, retail media, editorial, and campaign needs, while helping build scalable and repeatable studio systems.

As a Still Photographer
, you will lead and execute still photography for campaigns, product launches, and evergreen content. You will collaborate closely with creatives, producers, stylists, and postproduction partners to plan, capture, and deliver imagery that is consistent, efficient, and flexible for reuse. You will also help explore and integrate forward-thinking workflows, including AI-assisted and hybrid production techniques, to keep the studio operating efficiently and competitively.

• A skilled commercial photographer with a strong eye for lighting, composition, and visual consistency

• Partner with creative leads and producers to translate briefs into clear shot lists and visual approaches
• Scout locations and recommend equipment, lighting, and camera configurations
• Collaborate on creative treatments to ensure alignment with brand standards and campaign goals
• Participate in pre-production planning, including tech scouts and shot planning
• Identify opportunities for reusable imagery and evergreen asset capture
• Collaborate with post-production and retouching partners to plan for efficient delivery

• Lead still photography across studio, on-location, and retail environments
• Own lighting design, camera setup, lensing, and scene composition
• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Producers, Stylists, and Art Directors to execute creative vision
• Capture imagery with attention to brand consistency, product accuracy, and downstream usability
• Maintain and help evolve photography equipment, workflows, and studio setups

• 7+ years of experience shooting commercial, editorial, or branded photography
• Strong knowledge of professional digital camera systems, lighting equipment, and studio workflows
• Deep understanding of exposure, color, and lighting for product and lifestyle photography
• Experience working in a commercial studio or agency environment is preferred
• Proven portfolio demonstrating technical skill, creative judgment, and brand alignment
• Comfortable working in both studio and location environments across varied subjects and conditions

• Proven experience as a hands-on commercial photographer with a strong portfolio
• High standards for craft, consistency, and visual detail
• A positive and solutions-first mindset with adaptability in a collaborative environment
• Professional on-set presence and ability to lead small crews or setups when needed
• Understanding of how photography decisions impact timeline, cost, and creative outcomes
• Openness to feedback and continuous improvement
• An ownership mentality with humility and team-first execution
