The Communication Directorate is at the heart of this project. It produces quality information, accessible to all, in the service of the general interest. An engaged public policy implies an engaged communication. This position is for you if you share this conviction. Within the Communication Directorate of the City of Guyancourt, under the direct responsibility of the Director, the editor-in-chief will pilot the conception of the monthly municipal magazine "Guyancourt Mag," participate in the development of the institutional communication strategy of the community, and conduct communication projects.
1. Ensure the editorial direction of the monthly municipal journal of the City (24 pages):
Direction of the editorial committees, proposal of topics, elaboration of the train in connection with the Direction and the Cabinet. Definition of angles, prioritization of topics, consultation with services. Writing, coordination, and animation of a network of contributors and photographer for the production of articles, portraits, dossiers, briefs, and editorials. Realization of field reports, interviews. Editorial secretariat: proofreading, corrections, headlines, calibration, consistency of language levels, validation of information, and guarantee of editorial quality.
2. Manage the network of communication officers of the service:
Methodological support, coherence of editorial practices, circulation of information within the service.
3. Lead communication campaigns and projects:
Consultation with services and municipal officials. Declination of angles and messages according to the supports, brief, follow-up of projects at 360°.
4. Participate in the different editorial projects of the City:
Institutional site, social networks, press releases, guides, brochures, videos for informative purposes.
What you know how to do Write quickly, well, and for everyone! (Excellent writing skills and a high level of spelling expected). Master the codes of journalistic, institutional, and web writing. Prioritize information and maintain an editorial line (even under pressure and within deadlines). Know the functioning of local authorities and the issues of public communication. Lead a team, listen, reformulate, and federate.

Profiles sought Higher education degree Bac+4/5 in communication, journalism, letters, political sciences, or public communication. Confirmed experience in editorial direction, territorial journalism, editorial communication, or public communication would be appreciated.
