As a Production Intern, you willlearnthe daily operations of a television news station while supporting our production andTechOpsoperations team.

You'llhave opportunities to gain practical experience with industry-standard broadcast technology and workflows.

What You'll Learn

Assist APC Directors during live newscast production andobservethe coordination of live television broadcasts.

Support producers, editors, and newsroom managers in creating and preparing content for broadcast.

Learn professional media asset management, including ingesting, organizing,archiving, restoring, and managing digital media.

Gain experience with newsroom fileworkflows and content management systems.

Observe and collaborate with professionals across multiple departments, including Production, News,Tech Ops Operations , and Engineering.

Participate in special projects and other learning opportunities that provideadditionalexposure to broadcast operations.

Currently pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Graduate degree from an accredited institution with proof of enrollment.

Sophomore standing or above (minimum 30completecredit hours).

Available to work at least 20 hours per week.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal.

Able to work on-site in San Antonio, Texas.

Preferred Qualifications

Passion for televisionnewscasts, media production, or broadcast technology.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Bilingualproficiencyin English and Spanish is preferred.
