Primary Function
The Multimedia Specialist II is a visual storyteller responsible for shaping compelling video content from concept through final delivery. This role is focused first on creative editorial, storytelling, pacing, sound, color, and brand‑aligned narrative across broadcast, social, and digital platforms. The role also supports production through thoughtful content capture and contributes to workflow, exports, asset management, and other operational needs as assigned.
This position requires a proactive, collaborative problem‑solver who can work quickly and accurately, manage multiple assignments, and deliver polished work that supports brand vision, messaging, and strategic objectives.
Hybrid: 4 days in office, and 1 from home.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesCreative Editorial & Storytelling
Edit video content for broadcast, social, digital, branded, corporate, and campaign‑based needs.
Shape stories through strong editorial judgment, narrative structure, pacing, music selection, sound design, color, and visual flow.
Develop rough cuts, revised cuts, and final deliverables that align with creative direction, brand standards, strategic goals, and client‑specific requirements.
Color correct, sound correct, and integrate motion graphics, visual effects, still photography, infographics, text, music, narration, and voiceover as needed.
Collaborate on concepts, storyboards, and visual approaches that support the intended message and audience.
Apply understanding of branding, marketing strategy, social media best practices, and platform‑specific content needs.
Maintain accuracy, brand alignment, and content quality throughout post‑production.
Production & Content CaptureOperate professional camera and audio equipment, including Sony FX6, FX9, FX3, and related production tools.
Support documentary‑style, run‑and‑gun, interview, b‑roll, social, and broadcast production needs.
Capture content that supports the editorial vision and anticipates the needs of the final story and delivery format.
Travel with teams for production shoots as needed. (up to 25%)
Work collaboratively with producers, designers, project managers, executives, and other team members.
Workflow, Delivery & Operational SupportWork with a wide range of media formats and follow established production and post‑production workflows.
Prepare and export projects according to technical specifications, platform requirements, and client needs.
Follow client processes, naming conventions, file management practices, and delivery standards.
Troubleshoot technical issues under deadline pressure and elevate when needed.
Manage multiple quick‑turn assignments while maintaining organization, accuracy, and professionalism.
Perform other production and post‑production duties as assigned.
Skills & QualificationsPrimary proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, including editing, color correction/grading, finishing, and delivery workflows.
Strong working proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Audition.
Familiarity with, or working knowledge of, Avid Media Composer.
Willingness and initiative to learn additional software, platforms, codecs, workflows, and emerging tools as needed.
Familiarity with modern digital video production equipment, audio equipment, media formats, and post‑production processes.
Online video portfolio or reel required; applications without sample work will not be considered.
Strong editorial instincts, with the ability to make creative decisions while responding well to direction and feedback.
Ability to work under deadline pressure and troubleshoot production or post‑production challenges.
Professional presence, strong communication skills, customer‑service orientation, and ability to work with executives, creative partners, technical colleagues, and cross‑functional teams.
Positive attitude, initiative, organization, and ability to manage multiple assignments with varying deadlines.
Ability to travel frequently as production needs require.
