Job Description
About Korrus
Korrus is transforming the way people interact with light. We are the leader in human-centric lighting, built on more than 500 patents in spectral and circadian technology, and pioneers in Human Light Interaction, the next frontier in human health and wellness.
That work runs on three fronts:
- Ecosense. A globally known and respected leader in architectural and commercial lighting, and the business now bringing circadian technology into the spaces where people work, heal, learn, and gather.
- OIO. Our consumer brand, bringing circadian lighting into the home: biologically aligned light, the right spectrum at the right time of day, to support how people wake, focus, and rest.
- Everything else in Human Light Interaction. We are pushing the limits of what light can do for human health and performance, and we own the intellectual property to do it.
This role owns the creative output of the brand end to end: the story it tells, the words that carry it, and the finished assets that bring it to life, at the speed the consumer business now requires. It is responsible for all creative.
It is a deliberate combination of skill sets that usually live in two or three people. We need the narrative instinct of a creative director, the writing ability of a copywriter, and the hands‑on production craft of a senior designer who can build the work to a high standard. One person who can find the story, write it, and make it.
This is an individual contributor role. The person in this seat does the work, not just directs it. They report directly to the CEO on an interim basis and operate with a high degree of creative autonomy. There is no CMO or CXO layer above them. They are the creative function.
What You Will Own 1. Brand Story and Narrative- Discover and shape the core stories that explain what motivates our customers and what makes our products and intellectual property distinct.

- Own the brand's voice and point of view, keeping emotional resonance and coherence consistent across every touchpoint.
- Translate science, product capability, and strategy into stories people can feel, remember, and repeat.
- Write all brand copy across advertising, organic social, website, email, product, and packaging, in both long and short form.
- Craft headlines, taglines, scripts, and body copy that carry a consistent brand voice and move the reader to act.
- Own the brand's written voice and enforce consistency across every channel and touchpoint.
- Edit, sharpen, and elevate copy produced by other contributors and external partners.
- Lead concept development and design execution across digital campaigns, organic social content, and print collateral for new product launches.
- Produce finished, on‑brand creative yourself, balancing visual sophistication with functional clarity.
- Support and evolve the Korrus and OIO visual identity systems, keeping consistency while pushing the work forward.
- Prepare final files to vendor specification and manage vendor sourcing and delivery when production requires it.
- Maintain visual continuity across digital, print, packaging, website, and social content.
- Turn high‑level narrative into concrete creative direction, then execute against it.
- Build organic social content and ad creative for the consumer business, adapting by channel and audience while protecting the core story.
- Manage multiple projects at once, tracking deliverables, approvals, and timelines without sacrificing quality.
- Partner with the other creatives on the XDM team, the…
