Job Description IES Residential is seeking a Dispatcher to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. Previous experience in dispatching is beneficial. We are looking for a highly organized, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively coordinate technicians and service schedules. Responsibilities Utilize phone and computer systems to dispatch technicians or field units to appropriate locations. Monitor routes and technician status, coordinating and prioritizing schedules effectively.

Provide technicians with job details, traffic updates, obstacles, and customer-specific requirements. Enter data accurately into company systems and maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and pertinent information. Prioritize service calls based on urgency and importance. Communicate regularly with customers regarding appointment updates and service status. Collaborate effectively with office personnel and field teams. Contribute as a team player in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times. Perform additional administrative and operational support tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 2-4 Specific Qualifications Qualifications Previous dispatching, scheduling, or customer service experience preferred. HVAC, plumbing, construction, or service industry experience is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with computers, dispatch software, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer in a fast-paced office environment. Frequent use of phones, headsets, keyboards, and multiple computer monitors. Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing schedules and service demands. Frequent communication and interaction with customers, technicians, and office staff. Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 15 pounds.

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone. May be required to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, or during peak seasonal demand and emergency situations. License Required Yes
