Bankruptcy/Estate Specialist

We are seeking an Inbound Customer Contact Specialist that will service bank accounts including loans, credit cards, checking/savings, and HELOCs for deceased members. These calls involve speaking with next of kin who may have recently lost a loved one and are handling their affairs.

Responsibilities include:

• Service loans and credit cards in bankruptcy, estate, and charged-off status
• Handle sensitive customer interactions (including deceased member accounts)
• Process payments and settlements
• Generate customer documentation and correspondence
• Collaborate with internal support teams

Required Experience:

• At least 1 year of inbound call center experience servicing loans and credit cards
• Experience must include accounts in at least 2 of 3 statuses:
• Bankruptcy
• Charged-Off
• Deceased member estate
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in all 3 areas
• Experience servicing accounts including:
• Taking payments
• Discussing and entering debt settlements
• Providing balances and account research

• Experience with banking regulations such as Reg F, UDAAP, Privacy Act
• Strong communication skills, especially in sensitive customer situations
• Reliable attendance is critical
