Government Travel Consultant

This is an on‑site position at Randolph AFB outside of San Antonio, TX, supporting our military customer.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Secure air, car and hotel accommodations for contracted government agencies.
  • Ensure that all aspects of booked travel (domestic and international) adhere to government travel regulations and that a high quality of accommodation and transportation is secured.
  • Maintain all queues throughout the day.
  • Initiate cancellation or reservation change processes to completion, notifying client agencies promptly.
  • Provide updates to client agencies to ensure their full awareness of travel status.
  • Conduct routine research of travel industry changes, trends and offerings to provide up‑to‑date advice.
  • Maintain a professional customer service attitude and demeanor at all times while delivering quality service, timely and accurate travel arrangements and recommending value‑added services.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Travel industry experience.
  • Proactive approach to systems and processes.
  • Working knowledge of World Span and SABRE GDS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
