Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Customer Service Rep, Clerical
IES Residential is seeking a Dispatcher to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. Previous experience in dispatching is beneficial. We are looking for a highly organized, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively coordinate technicians and service schedules.
Responsibilities- Utilize phone and computer systems to dispatch technicians or field units to appropriate locations.
- Monitor routes and technician status, coordinating and prioritizing schedules effectively.
- Provide technicians with job details, traffic updates, obstacles, and customer-specific requirements.
- Enter data accurately into company systems and maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and pertinent information.
- Prioritize service calls based on urgency and importance.
- Communicate regularly with customers regarding appointment updates and service status.
- Collaborate effectively with office personnel and field teams.
- Contribute as a team player in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times.
- Perform additional administrative and operational support tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Years of Experience- 2-4
- Previous dispatching, scheduling, or customer service experience preferred.
- HVAC, plumbing, construction, or service industry experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with computers, dispatch software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer in a fast‑paced office environment.
- Frequent use of phones, headsets, keyboards, and multiple computer monitors.
- Effective multitasking, prioritizing responsibilities, and adapting to changing schedules and service demands.
- Frequent communication and interaction with customers, technicians, and office staff.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing, in person and over the phone.
- May be required to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, or during peak seasonal demand and emergency situations and travel as required.
