Our privately owned dental practice is looking for a friendly, dependable Dental Assistant to join our team. We're committed to providing exceptional patient experiences while creating a positive workplace where our team members are valued and supported.
What You’ll Do- Assist the doctor during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take digital X-rays and maintain patient records
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment plans
- Help create a welcoming and comfortable patient experience
- Collaborate with a team dedicated to outstanding care
- $20-$23 per hour

- Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: OFF
As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):
- Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
- Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
- Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
- Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
- Develop a relationship with the patient.
- Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
- Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
- Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant
- High school diploma or GED.
- Other certifications as required by the state, as an example:
Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.
- Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
