• Interpret program and scope details, integrating them with interior/exterior site design and aesthetic for new stores, remodels, innovation projects, and office spaces.
• Lead the conceptual planning process and provide full support throughout the entire project.
• Provide professional planning guidance in layout and coordination of new formats, multi‑level, or new process‑driven back‑of‑house department layouts, consistent with Architectural, MEP, and ADA requirements.
• Create multiple bubble diagrams for early conceptual layout of departments to facilitate size, scope, and footprint of a new store, remodel, or expansion area, providing calculations and store comparisons.
• Manage templates that require continuous planning improvements as the business evolves.
• Present planning work during internal design team meetings and lead select merchant meetings regarding department template improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design from an accredited university.
• 7+ years of role‑relevant experience.
• Relevant project experience and advanced knowledge of all department template space planning requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of the planning process and ability to mentor in conceptual planning, hand sketching, bubble diagrams, programming, tagging, bill of materials, store planning deliverables, and change‑management processes.
• Ability to strategically manage multiple & complex standard planning projects for all phases to completion on a monthly basis with little supervision.
• Power user of REVIT, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and the MS Office suite.
• Strong verbal, written, graphic, process, and PowerPoint presentation communication skills.

• Function in a fast‑paced retail or office environment.
• Travel with overnight stays.
• Work extended hours.
