** Job Summary
** Designer II is responsible for the accurate design of the roof and floor trusses, walls, and components for single-family, multi-family, and commercial projects.
** Principal Duties and Responsibilities
*** Design metal plate-connected wood trusses and Wall Panels utilizing Mitek software
* Optimize designs for maximum efficiency
* Review orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy
* Assist sales and production with design service and troubleshooting
* Performs other duties as required
** Qualifications
* ** Minimum high school graduate
* Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent
* Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in related field/responsibilities
* Working knowledge and experience using Mitek software are preferred
* Working knowledge of floor and rood systems and the ability to spec out beams and hangars###
