Lead CAD​/Revit Designer- QSR & Retail Ground-Up projects

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead CAD/Revit Designer to oversee and support the design and development of quick-service restaurant (QSR) and retail ground-up construction projects. This leadership role will manage CAD/Revit production, oversee design coordination, and work directly with clients, consultants, engineers, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.

The ideal candidate must have advanced/high-level Revit experience, strong commercial construction knowledge, and experience leading teams in fast-paced environments. QSR and retail project experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee CAD/Revit design production for QSR and retail ground-up construction projects
• Manage and mentor CAD/design team members while maintaining project quality and deadlines
• Coordinate directly with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, project managers, and field teams
• Develop and manage detailed construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
• Coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines
• Review plans for constructability, code compliance, permitting requirements, and accuracy
• Support prototype development, standardization, and rollout programs
• Assist with value engineering, design-build coordination, and project planning efforts
• Manage revisions, drawing standards, BIM coordination, and project documentation
• Help improve internal workflows, drafting standards, and overall design efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial CAD/Revit design experience
• Strong experience with QSR, retail, or commercial ground-up projects
• Proven experience leading teams and coordinating with clients and engineers
• Strong understanding of construction documents and MEP coordination
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM coordination
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Architecture, Drafting, Engineering Technology, Construction Design, or related field preferred
• Professional certifications or licensing preferred
• Experience with national rollout programs and prototype-based construction preferred
• Design-build experience is a plus
