Culture Space is a rapidly growing office furniture and office design provider located in San Antonio, Texas. We are hiring an Interior Designer to help our clients create cutting‑edge, modern and open‑space concepts.

About the Position

The Designer will be responsible for designing work areas that fit within the client's budget, available space, and needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collabores with Project Consultants and potential clients on upcoming projects, asking diagnostic questions to determine client requirements, budget, employee count, and space planning needs.
  • Occasionally tour clients’ work spaces to take measurements for accurate space planning.
  • Use Sketch Up, CET, and AutoCAD to create floor plans and 3D renderings.
  • Select and specify office furniture, fabrics, and finishes that reflect the client’s workplace culture and budget.
  • Accurately apply applicable discounts and craft solutions for client approval.
  • Update quotes and make necessary revisions in a timely manner to ensure each project is accurate and complete.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Purchasing teams to ensure projects are created and ordered correctly.

Participate in other office duties as part of the team.

Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills with a desire to go above and beyond for clients.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Driven to develop professionally and personally through goal setting and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Results‑oriented with a commitment to exceed individual and team goals.
Preferred Skills
  • College degree in Design preferred.
  • Space planning experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Sketch Up and AutoCAD preferred.
  • Proven experience interacting verbally with senior executives up to C‑level preferred.
