Sales Representative, Architectural

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strategic relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
• Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
• Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications.
• Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and design‑assist professional services.
• Assist with product substitution and approval procedures and follow up to ensure specifications are held in the bid process.
• Utilize  as a customer relationship, project tracking and time management tool.
• Serve as the point‑of‑contact for the architect's education, specification, client satisfaction and technical support needs.
• Promote adoption of the Openings Studio BIM tool and present project proposals for value‑added professional services.

• College/University degree preferred in architectural, design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar.
• 2-3 years industry related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design‑Build construction management can be considered in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.
• Working knowledge of industry‑related software is a plus.

Demonstrates expertise in architectural representation and specification writing, with a strong focus on cultivating relationships and delivering educational programs. Proficient in utilizing CRM tools and Microsoft Office for effective project management and client support.
