The Methodist Transplant Institute, based at Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking a board certified Transplant Surgeon with expertise in liver and kidney transplantation. • Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery
• Completion of an ASTS accredited Abdominal Transplant Fellowship
• Eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license
• Ability to independently perform deceased donor liver and kidney transplantation
• Proficiency in liver transplantation and laparoscopic donor nephrectomy
• Experience preferred; new graduates will be considered
• Interest in working within a consensus driven model alongside a highly experienced group of hepatologists, nephrologists, and transplant surgeons
• Low resident participation environment, allowing for focused surgical practice
