- Provide emergency medical care in a high-volume ED (39,000 visits annually)
- Work 8‑10 hour physician shifts with APP support
- Participate in triage and disposition of patients, including coordination with inpatient and specialty teams
- Support the ED’s Level IV Trauma designation and maintain readiness for emergent PCI and neuro‑interventional services
- Utilize Cerner First Net for documentation
- Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Emergency Medicine (BC/BP preferred)
- Valid medical license in Texas
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with APPs and administrative staff

- Excellent specialty coverage (neurosurgery, neuro‑interventional, trauma, OB, pediatrics) is available across the five hospitals in the Baptist Health System and six hospitals with Resolute
- Emergent PCI and neuro‑intervention services available on‑site
- Inpatient geriatric psychiatric service, as well as an on‑site Behavioral Assessment Team to assist with triaging and transferring patients requiring inpatient psychiatric treatment
- ED Volume: 39,000
- 28 ED beds (3 Quick Care beds, "results pending" suite)
- 26% admission rate
- Level IV Trauma designation
- 8‑10 hour physician shifts with APP support

- Dedicated ED administrative assistants manage admission, consult and transfer calls
- NPs and PAs practice independently; physicians only sign APP charts when consulted for coordination
- Layout allows rapid conversion of spaces to negative‑pressure areas as needed
