• W-2 and 1099 employment options available

• Provide emergency medical care in a high-volume ED (39,000 visits annually)
• Work 8‑10 hour physician shifts with APP support
• Participate in triage and disposition of patients, including coordination with inpatient and specialty teams
• Support the ED’s Level IV Trauma designation and maintain readiness for emergent PCI and neuro‑interventional services
• Utilize Cerner First Net for documentation

• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Emergency Medicine (BC/BP preferred)
• Valid medical license in Texas
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with APPs and administrative staff

• Excellent specialty coverage (neurosurgery, neuro‑interventional, trauma, OB, pediatrics) is available across the five hospitals in the Baptist Health System and six hospitals with Resolute
• Emergent PCI and neuro‑intervention services available on‑site
• Inpatient geriatric psychiatric service, as well as an on‑site Behavioral Assessment Team to assist with triaging and transferring patients requiring inpatient psychiatric treatment

• ED Volume: 39,000
• 28 ED beds (3 Quick Care beds, "results pending" suite)
• 26% admission rate
• Level IV Trauma designation
• 8‑10 hour physician shifts with APP support
• Cerner First Net Documentation
• Dedicated ED administrative assistants manage admission, consult and transfer calls
• NPs and PAs practice independently; physicians only sign APP charts when consulted for coordination
• Layout allows rapid conversion of spaces to negative‑pressure areas as needed
