Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist San Antonio, TX
Join our team as a Locum OB Hospitalist and play a vital role in providing exceptional obstetric care in a dynamic hospital environment. This opportunity offers flexibility, competitive compensation, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while enjoying the vibrant community of San Antonio. We are seeking dedicated physicians who are committed to delivering high-quality care under a flexible, short-term assignment.
Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid State Medical License in Texas
- Active DEA registration
- Proven experience in obstetrics and inpatient hospitalist services
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments
Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Familiarity with neonatal resuscitation protocols
- Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
- Previous locum or temporary assignment experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation and willingness to adhere to hospital protocols
- Compliance with all licensure, certification, and medical credentialing requirements
- Travel and accommodation reimbursements when applicable
