This is a full‑time on‑site role for a System Director for Advanced Heart Failure, located in San Antonio, TX. The System Director will oversee the coordination and management of the Advanced Heart Failure Program, ensuring the delivery of evidence‑based, patient‑centered care. Responsibilities include developing and implementing clinical protocols, leading a multidisciplinary team, managing program operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
The incumbent will collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to improve patient outcomes and contribute to the growth of the program.
- Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to oversee multidisciplinary teams and program operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of advanced heart failure management, clinical protocols, and outcome‑based care
- Proficiency in healthcare quality standards, regulatory compliance, and process improvement
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities
- Experience in academic healthcare systems or related specialized healthcare programs is preferred
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in cardiology and heart failure
- Experience with advanced therapies such as VAD (Ventricular Assist Devices), transplant and ECMO
