Meaningful Mission: Provide high-quality care to Veterans with diverse urologic conditions.
Collaborative Team: Work with 2 full-time MDs
, 1 part-time MD
, 3 Urology Residents
, 2 NPs
, and 3 PAs
.Cutting-Edge Practice: Utilize advanced techniques, including robotic surgery and minimally invasive procedures (expertise highly desired).
Academic Affiliation: Teach and supervise learners from UT Health San Antonio with potential for Adjunct Professor appointment
.Research Opportunities: Engage in VA and national research projects.
Modern outpatient clinic with 4 procedure rooms

Competitive Salary: $300,000 $ 375,000 + performance pay up to $15,000

Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Call Coverage: First call to on-call resident; backup home call shared among 3 providers (rare to be called in)
Provide comprehensive urologic care, including diagnosis and treatment of:
• Urolithiasis
• Voiding dysfunction
• Prostate disorders
• Erectile dysfunction
• Urologic malignanciesPerform outpatient procedures:
cystoscopies
, prostate biopsies
, urodynamic studiesParticipate in tumor boards, committees, and quality assurance programs
Supervise and teach residents and medical students
Maintain a caseload of 10 12 patients per day
MD/DO degree
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Urology
U.S. Citizenship
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to patient safety and High-Reliability Organization principles
