- Meaningful Mission: Provide high-quality care to Veterans with diverse urologic conditions.
- Collaborative Team: Work with 2 full-time MDs , 1 part-time MD , 3 Urology Residents , 2 NPs , and 3 PAs .
- Cutting-Edge Practice: Utilize advanced techniques, including robotic surgery and minimally invasive procedures (expertise highly desired).
- Academic Affiliation: Teach and supervise learners from UT Health San Antonio with potential for Adjunct Professor appointment .
- Research Opportunities: Engage in VA and national research projects.
- Modern outpatient clinic with 4 procedure rooms
- Convenient access to main operating room
- Advanced technology for robotic and minimally invasive surgeries
- Competitive Salary: $300,000 – $375,000 + performance pay up to $15,000
- Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP): Up to $200,000 tax-free over 5 years ($40K/year)

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Call Coverage: First call to on-call resident; backup home call shared among 3 providers (rare to be called in)
- Provide comprehensive urologic care, including diagnosis and treatment of:
? Urolithiasis
? Voiding dysfunction
? Prostate disorders
? Erectile dysfunction
? Urologic malignancies - Perform outpatient procedures:
cystoscopies ,
prostate biopsies ,
urodynamic studies - Participate in tumor boards, committees, and quality assurance programs
- Supervise and teach residents and medical students
- Maintain a caseload of 10–12 patients per day
