Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a full time Psychiatrist at our Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.Join us in providing exceptional care to the men and women who have served our country.

Position Details:

Location:

Lackalnd AFB in San Antonio, TX

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30pm

Type of Role:
On-site   Outpatient setting
- Direct Patient Care

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality psychiatric care to veterans.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient mental health needs.

Outpatient setting

6 to 8 direct patient care hours per day

Shall be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric services
Provide general psychiatric care to male and female adult Veterans which includes, but is not limited to, conducting diagnostic evaluations, psychiatric consultation, medication management, and individual psychotherapy.
The psychiatrist provides assessment of serious and complicated cases involving psychiatric illness, catastrophic medical conditions, dementia and other high-risk diagnoses

Qualifications:

Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology

Unrestricted State Medical License:
Valid and in good standing in any U.S. state.

DEA Certification:
Current and unrestricted DEA license.

BLS thru the AHA or American Red Cross

Experience:

Must have a minumum of 24 months of experience within the last 36 months as a board certified Psychiatrist.
