** The Department of Computational, Engineering, and Mathematical Sciences is seeking Full/Part-time adjunct instructor(s) needed for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, cybersecurity, and cyber engineering technology for Fall 2026. Most courses are taught in person with a few courses taught online either synchronously or asynchronously.
** Required
Education and Experience:
*** An earned Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Cyber Engineering Technology or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
* 18 graduate hours in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Cyber Engineering Technology or a closely related field.
* Lecture and Computer based Laboratory teaching experience or related industry experience.
** Preferred
Education and Experience:
*** Working towards or has earned Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Cyber Engineering Technology or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
* Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a college/university setting.
* Broad training in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Cyber Engineering Technology and industry experience.
* Interest in active and collaborative learning, the instructional use of technology.
* Experience with non-traditional commuter university setting.
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
*** Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills.
* Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff.
* Ability to respond promptly to queries from students, faculty, and staff.
