Oversees educational support services that align with the university's responsibilities to promote and foster learning and working environments in compliance with Title IX, Title VII, Title VI, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and services for Pregnant and Parenting Students (PPS) as well as other federal, state, regental, or institutional regulations and policies that pertain to the academic learning and working environment.

This position reports to the Associate Vice President & Vice Provost for Health, Academic & Student Affairs. This position works closely with the Office of Legal Affairs, the UTSA academic campus EOS Office, Compliance and Privacy Office and/or Human Resources as needed, as well as the Schools and other offices within the health campus. Primary responsibilities for this position include Title IX, Title VII, and Title VI coordination, encompassing oversight of internal and external communications related to policies and procedures;

coordination of the institutional obligations of Title IX, VII, VI case management and reporting, training and education; and supervision of investigations and other appointed roles related to the Title IX, VII, and VI investigatory, hearing and appeal processes. This position also oversees the coordination of federal compliance areas that intersect with the academic learning environment, including but not limited to Title VI and Title VII;

ADA accommodation requests and negotiation; PPS accommodation requests; and the concomitant education, training, and case management and reporting for these areas.
