As a Learning Specialist, you are our educator. In this role, you will assess and understand the various learning needs throughout the organization and create different strategies and programs to enhance employee skillsets. You will help bring value to the organization by evaluating the effectiveness of all learning opportunities, ensuring programs enhance learning and contribute to employee development. You believe knowledge is power and are committed to staying up to date on new training methodologies to constantly improve curriculum.

Most importantly, this role is about ensuring training is reflective of our company culture and aligned with our core values of integrity, caring and excellence.

What You’ll Do
  • Assemble and lead teams that develop and facilitate enterprise-wide employee learning and development programs
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Associate Learning Specialists; work to advance the skills of individuals as well as the capabilities of the department
  • Partner with all levels of personnel to deliver performance-based results
  • Create a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for employees; ensure classes are organized in a way that encourages a strong understanding of content
  • Remain current on industry learning techniques and solutions that support enterprise-wide participants; actively research and recommend new learning solutions
  • Update and maintain an inventory of available learning materials
  • Use qualitative and quantitative tools to evaluate the results of learning events
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience creating and facilitating training.
  • Advanced knowledge of learning and facilitation methodologies.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications.
