Job Description

! We are seeking a passionate and proactive leader to support daily school operations while maintaining excellence in early childhood education. This role works closely with the Director to help lead a talented team, ensure compliance with licensing requirements, implement curriculum, and build meaningful connections with families and the community.

Key Responsibilities Leadership and Administration
- Support the Director and franchisee in community outreach efforts and customer relationship building
- Assist with maintaining a professional online presence, including Linked In
- Welcome visitors, assist with tours, and help lead family orientations
- Support school communication systems, including daily reports, newsletters, and event reminders
- Help maintain school schedules, including faculty schedules and event calendars
- Assist with employee records, including onboarding, timecards, and performance tracking
- Support recruitment efforts, including interviewing and onboarding new teachers
- Help coordinate professional development, faculty meetings, and training sessions
- Provide guidance and support to teachers to maintain a positive work environment
- Assist in ensuring educational programs meet the needs of all children
- Support teachers in implementing curriculum and lesson planning
- Help maintain classroom standards and student transition processes
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families
- Address parent questions and escalate concerns to the Director when needed
- Support community outreach initiatives and partnerships
- Assist the Director with enrollment efforts and administrative tasks
- Support efficient use of school resources
- Help ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and visitors
- Assist with safety drills and emergency preparedness
- Support daily opening and closing procedures, including safety checks and facility readiness
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field preferred
- 2–5 years of leadership experience in a childcare setting (Assistant Director or similar role preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask effectively
- Positive attitude with strong problem‑solving skills
