Position: Teacher Resident 2026-2027 School Year
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Deliver instruction, provide support to staff/students, and perform related job duties/responsibilities during the absence of the regular employee.

REPORTS TO:
Principal/Human Resources

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A student enrolled and selected by Region 20 Teacher Orientation & Preparation Program (TOPP) & Texas A&M San Antonio working towards a teaching certificate.
  • Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable one time fee (approximately $50.00) paid by the applicant.
    • Hours
    • Residents will be present during teacher contract hours and dates set by the district calendar.
