Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Engineering Robotics Teacher role located in San Antonio, TX. The Engineering Robotics Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons in robotics and engineering concepts, integrating programming, mechanical design, and problem-solving into daily instruction. Responsibilities include developing curricula aligned with district and state standards, preparing instructional materials, assessing student learning, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will guide students in hands‑on lab activities, robotics competitions, and team projects while maintaining a safe and organized classroom and lab environment.

Additional duties include collaborating with colleagues, communicating with families and guardians, participating in professional development, and supporting campus and district initiatives related to STEM education.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability in Lesson Planning and Education, including creating standards‑aligned, project‑based, and differentiated instructional materials.
  • Proven strength in Teaching and Training, with experience facilitating hands‑on STEM or robotics learning and coaching students through complex technical tasks.
  • Strong Communication skills, including clear classroom communication, collaboration with colleagues, and regular, professional communication with families and guardians.
  • Relevant experience or coursework in engineering, robotics, computer science, or a related STEM field.
  • Valid teaching certification (or eligibility) in an appropriate subject area as required by the Texas Education Agency.
  • Ability to manage a classroom and lab environment that is safe, inclusive, and supportive of diverse learners.
  • Experience with robotics platforms (e.g., VEX, FIRST) and basic programming languages is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Robotics, a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Engineering, STEM, or a closely related field required; advanced degree is a plus.
