Associate Professor of Practice, Interdisciplinary School Engagement

Position

Associate Professor of Practice in Theater Tech – The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Liberal and Fine Arts, Dramatic Arts program.

The successful candidate will teach one section of Introduction to Stagecraft or a specialty class in Theater Tech per semester, contributing to scheduled productions as part of our production teams.

This is a temporary position with an expected end date of 05/2027. It may be extended or shortened based on availability of funds and departmental need.

Teach a section of Introduction to Stagecraft or a specialty class in Theater Tech each semester.

Contribute to scheduled productions as part of the production teams.

• Extensive experience in professional theater tech, demonstrated by resume and portfolio.
• Adequate ability to maintain security and integrity of UT San Antonio’s infrastructure.

Salary: $4,500 per course.
