Southwest ISD - ELEMENTARY BILINGUAL TEACHER
Description/Notes: The Bilingual Teacher, under the direction of the campus principal and the Bilingual Director, shall provide supplemental Spanish reading, Spanish language development and English-as-a-Second Language instruction to Limited English proficient students.
Qualifications: Education/Certification
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned.
- Bilingual Certificate/Endorsement
- Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting check.
Special Knowledge &
Skills:
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area(s).
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Salary Range: Teacher Pay Scale
Benefits: A New Teacher can earn up to $83,327 with our generous stipends and TIA eligibility after your first year
