UNT has a highly diverse campus with a wide range of languages spoken in addition to English. Position OverviewThe Department of Accounting seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. Specific course offerings may vary by semester, and teaching opportunities are dependent on departmental needs.
The anticipated need is for courses covering various areas of Accounting, including but not limited to financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, taxation, accounting information systems, and ethics in accounting.
Minimum QualificationsA master's degree in the discipline or a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours directly related to the assigned course(s).
Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Accounting/Taxation from an AACSB-accredited institution. Industry experience and certifications relevant to the teaching area. Teaching experience at the college level.
