Preschool Teacher

The Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for 4-year-old children. The teacher plans and implements curriculum that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in alignment with Texas DFPS Minimum Standards and early childhood best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities supporting all areas of child development.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
• Observing and documenting children's developmental progress and sharing information with parents and center administration.
• Following Texas DFPS Minimum Standards and center policies regarding health, safety, and child protection.
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development.
• Implementing classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
• Ensuring compliance with required record-keeping and reporting.
