Kinesiology, Sport Management & Wellness Instructor (Part-Time)
The Ila Faye Miller School of Nursing & Health Professions invites part‑time faculty candidates for Instructor, Kinesiology, Sport Management, and Wellness. This position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in respective areas. Note that part‑time faculty are assigned for one term at a time. In all matters, faculty are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics consistent with the UIW Mission.
Official duties and responsibilities of part‑time faculty members at the University include teaching and professional activities as assigned.
- Ability to deliver instruction both in‑person and/or online as needed.
- Ability to effectively learn, use, and incorporate instructional technology into teaching.
- Willingness and flexibility to teach day, evening, and weekend sections as needed.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.
Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, Sport Management, or relevant field.
Required Work ExperienceAt least two (2) years of relevant professional experience in associated discipline.
Preferred Qualifications- Master of Science or Terminal degree in a related area.
- Extensive experience in the discipline to teach graduate‑level courses.
- Teaching experience at the baccalaureate or graduate level.
Certification in a respective area of Kinesiology, Sport Management, or Wellness.
Work HoursBased on course assignment.
Physical DemandsTypical for faculty in this discipline.
