Position Information:
Lecturer, Part Time.
The University of Texas at San Antonio School of Architecture + Planning invites applications for a part-time Lecturer position to teach Undergraduate Design Studios and/or Theory based seminars for the upcoming semester.
Salary Range:
Up to $5,000 for 3 credit hours and up to $10,000 for 6 credit hours.
The successful candidate will teach either undergraduate design studios (6 credit hours) or lead lecture-based courses or seminars (3 credit hours) for undergraduate and graduate students in Architecture, Interior Design, or Urban and Regional Planning, aligned with current curricular directions and the candidate's areas of expertise. It includes mentorship and onboarding support, and potentially an on-site office based on availability.
Qualifications- A professional or graduate degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Urban & Regional Planning, or a closely related field is required. Licensed or credentialed practitioners are encouraged to apply.
- Evidence of integrating technology into instruction, online teaching, or other emerging technologies is valued. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to be committed to supporting the University's mission.
- Professional experience in architecture, interior design, or planning, including teaching, practice, and/or collaborative research, will be considered.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
