The University College, one of nine colleges at UTSA, is the primary point of contact for first‑year students and houses the Academic Introduction and Strategies (AIS) program, which offers introductory core curriculum courses to support students as they transition to the university experience.
Position SummaryThe successful candidate will be able to teach courses to support first‑year students majoring in AI, cyber, technology, data science, math, or engineering, focusing particularly on skills students will need to be successful in these majors.
SalaryStarting at $45,050 annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.
Qualifications- The successful candidate will possess a degree in technology, cyber, math, data science, engineering, education, or a related field. An M.A. is required. Ph.D. preferred.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UTSA and its infrastructure.

This position will work primarily on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
