Employer Engagement Coordinator, Part-Time, Brain Health Consortium

Location: San Antonio, TX

Job Type: Part Time, 20 hours per week

Job Summary

The Employer Engagement Coordinator supports corporate sponsors and other operations for the Employer Engagement Team. This position equips students and recent graduates with the resources, skills, and connections needed to successfully transition from University life to the professional world through career education, counseling, employer relations, and job search support.

This is a grant‑funded position, which may be extended or shortened based upon availability of funds and/or work.

Core Responsibilities
  • Coordinates meetings with corporate partners/employers and invites relevant cross‑functional attendees as needed; supports virtual and in‑person meetings.
  • Manages Career Services Employer Relations calendar—including bookings for regularly scheduled recruiting activities (Career Expos, TACO Tuesdays, Meet the Employer) as well as ad hoc activities.
  • Vets new employers/employer contacts for approval in campus recruiting systems, and answers questions/assists employers with system questions/issues on account creation, job postings or events.
  • Manages UTSA employer account in campus recruiting system, adding/approving staff members as needed, cleaning out old members, training staff members as needed and/or assisting them with events/job postings.
  • Posts and/or approves job postings and events through campus recruiting system.
  • Pulls regular reports on number of employers, job postings approved.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
    • Three (3) years of related work experience.
    • Ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Master's Degree in a related field.
    • Five (5) years of related work experience.

    • CRM Database Experience (e.g., Salesforce)
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    Working Conditions
    • Office Environment. Workdays, areas, and work hours may vary based on the needs of the department. Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business‑related events.
    Physical Demands
    • Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary; if walking and standing are required, only occasionally. Exerts up to 10 lbs of force occasionally. Sometimes move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.

    This position will work both on campus and remotely in Texas. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.

    This position is contingent upon a successful background check. Verification of a valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) may be completed as applicable. Applicants selected must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States by time of hire.
