Campus Staff Minister I - Greater North Texas Area (Undergraduate Ministry)

God has called Inter Varsity to plant and to build witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus on college and university campuses. Through these groups, we believe ever-increasing numbers of students and faculty from all ethnic groups and areas of the campus will be transformed by the Gospel. We expect to see campuses increasingly become places where people, ideas, and structures flourish to the glory of God.

We confidently anticipate that our Inter Varsity alumni will become change agents across the country and around the world. We pursue this calling by discerning and actively participating in what God is already doing on campus. This is the essence of being a Campus Staff Minister (CSM).

Join our Greater North Texas Ministry team! We offer excellent and practical ministry training for each part of your job from discipleship, outreach, evangelism, student empowerment, and missions to professional development and support raising. You will learn how to plant new ministry as well as grow established student chapters alongside a diverse team of students, staff and types of focused ministries.

Our team is known for holistic discipleship, hospitality, communal support, and having lots of fun together. This is also a great team for moms in ministry. Come learn and grow with us!

We currently have the most need for Campus Staff Ministers for the following locations/foci. Please indicate in your application which you are interested in (if any):

• The University of Texas at Arlington

If you are interested in working at a location that is not listed, fill out the application and indicate where in the relevant question. You are also welcome to input multiple locations and we will take them into consideration. Note that our region of Inter Varsity serves the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. If you would like to serve in one of those states, search for it in the search bar to find the openings.

During the interview, there will be a greater discussion around location and also the opportunity to go to other places in need of staff.

Spiritual Growth

Campus Leadership

You communicate and model Inter Varsity's vision to see students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed and world changers developed

• Create a culture of humble dependence on God and bold expectation in God's intention to start new witnessing communities throughout the campus and on new campuses
• Model – in person and through programs – Inter Varsity's vision and Core Values, including a biblically-defined commitment to engage every ethnic and social group on campus
• Lead students and faculty – individually and collectively – through Scripture, prayer, teaching, and discipleship experiences, so that they articulate and align their ministry activities around this vision
• Set annual goals through prayer, research and reflection with your teams (students, faculty, and staff) for qualitative and quantitative growth, including conversions and leadership development

You create, develop, align and leverage ministry plans, programs, teams, and structures to close the gap between current reality and the aspirational goals.

• Build leadership teams who trust and partner well with you and who demonstrate spiritual vitality, relational health, and mission alignment
• Develop and execute plans to achieve annual goals, evaluating and modifying the plan as needed throughout the year
