The Department of Criminology and Political Science at Texas A&M University-San Antonio is seeking to hire a part-time adjunct instructor to teach in its Political Science program. Applicants must have at least one year of university teaching experience and the ability to teach courses on campus. The appointment will begin in Fall 2026.
Salary: $3,000 per 3-credit course.

- Master's degree in Political Science or related field from an accredited university.
- At least one (1) year of university teaching experience.

- At least three (3) years of university teaching experience.
- Record of teaching excellence.
- Doctoral degree in Political Science or related field from an accredited university.

This is an adjunct position, requiring only teaching. Courses could be offered during daytime hours or evenings, based on departmental needs.

We cannot accept transcripts issued directly to the candidate. If transcripts are from an international institution, it is the responsibility of the prospective faculty member to have the transcript translated and evaluated by an approved credential evaluator.
Selected candidates must pass a pre-employment background investigation to be hired for this position.
