Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from accredited university Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned Enroll in an Alternative Certification Program/Alternative Educator Preparation Program
Special Knowledge/
Skills:
Knowledge of core academic subject assigned General knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
At least one-year student teaching or approved internship

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
