Prelude Prep is a tuition-free public charter school serving students in Pre‑K through 8th grade in San Antonio.
We are seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support for students receiving special education services. This teacher will serve as a case manager, provide targeted interventions, collaborate with classroom teachers, and help students make meaningful progress toward their IEP goals.

What You’ll DoAs a Special Education Resource Teacher, you will provide specialized instruction and support for students receiving special education services through resource and pull‑out interventions.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the case manager for assigned students receiving special education services
- Provide specialized instruction in small‑group settings aligned to students’ IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure accommodations and modifications are implemented effectively
- Participate in ARD meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and support
- Use data to make instructional decisions and adjust interventions
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education requirements
- Participate actively in coaching, planning, and professional development
- Contribute positively to the culture and mission of the school

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas Special Education certification
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Experience serving students in a resource setting
- Experience with ARD meetings and IEP implementation
- Knowledge of evidence‑based reading and math interventions
- Strong organizational and data‑tracking skills
- Salary: $55,000–$65,000
