Third Future Schools is a high‑achieving and growing network of charter schools. The network’s school in San Antonio, TX – Ogden Elementary School – is seeking a DYAD Elective Dance Consultant to lead engaging elective classes for students.
Third Future Schools will provide student elective access through DYAD Electives, a specialized experiential learning model that builds critical thinking, communication, creativity, and other essential 21st‑century skills through hands‑on learning experiences. Students are grouped and participate in elective‑style courses that may include technology, fitness, arts, and other enrichment experiences.

This role is part of the DYAD program, which connects classroom learning with community‑based expertise. DYAD consultants deliver experience‑based instruction and use their expertise to connect classroom learning to real‑world experiences, fostering leadership, confidence, communication, professionalism, and habits of success among students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide engaging, structured, and experience‑based instruction in college and career readiness
- Develop and provide your own curriculum aligned to the elective you teach
- Independently plan, lead, and manage a class that reflects both your expertise and the expectations of the DYAD program
- Create a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment
- Actively teach, monitor, and engage students throughout the class period
- Maintain strong classroom management and uphold school expectations
- Ensure students are participating in meaningful, hands‑on learning experiences
- Communicate professionally with campus staff and leadership
- Be prepared, consistent, and dependable in daily instruction
- Use your expertise to connect classroom learning to real‑world experiences
- Contribute positively to the culture of the school and the integrity of the DYAD program
- Create opportunities for parents and families to see and celebrate what students have accomplished through class showcases, presentations, or other demonstrations of learning
- Skill, knowledge, and first‑hand experience in college and career readiness
- Ability to work effectively with students in a school setting
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom leadership skills
- Ability to provide structured, engaging, and experience‑based learning
- Commitment to professionalism, consistency, and student engagement
This is an hourly position paid at $30 per hour. No benefits are provided.
