Adjunct Faculty of English
Texas A&M University‑San Antonio seeks part‑time faculty for the Fall 2026 semester. The Department of Language, Literature, and Arts will hire successful candidates to teach undergraduate courses in English Composition, Technical Writing, and/or Integrated Reading and Writing based on academic qualifications.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses in English Composition, Technical Writing, and/or Integrated Reading and Writing.
- Apply contemporary instructional technologies such as e‑portfolios.
- Master’s Degree in English or a related field from a regionally accredited institution, with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in English or a related field.
- Minimum one year of college or university teaching experience is preferred.
- Experience teaching composition, technical writing, and/or integrated reading and writing.
- Experience teaching non‑traditional, first‑generation students.
- Preferred:
Ph.D. in English or a related field.
USD 3,000 per 3‑credit course.
