Math Teacher – HS FT Faculty Position Summary
St. Anthony Catholic High School, a private, college preparatory high school for young men and women, is seeking a full‑time Math Teacher for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The teacher will lecture 9th–12th grade mathematics and support the school’s mission and core values of honesty & integrity, community, service & social justice, scholarship, and holistic education. The Math Teacher reports directly to the School Principal.
ResponsibilitiesTeach mathematics courses for students in grades 9 through 12 in accordance with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
Essential Functions & Knowledge- Proficient knowledge of math curriculum and TEKS.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to use interactive technologies to enhance learning.
- Strong technology skills.
- Use differentiated instruction to address learning differences.
- Provide additional tutorials or study sessions outside regular school hours.
- Successful completion of VIRTUS and background check.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and cultures.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or Education with a minimum of 24 college credit hours in mathematics or a related field.
Required Work ExperienceAt least six (6) months of direct teaching or student‑teaching experience at the high‑school level. Relevant experience with high‑school students will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications- Master’s Degree.
- AP certification.
- Texas teacher certification in Math.
The Archdiocese of San Antonio requires non‑certified teachers to complete 12 hours of education. Those without the 12 hours are placed on a deficiency plan and must obtain the 12 hours within two (2) years.
Work HoursMon to Fri 7:30 am–4:00 pm, with occasional night and weekend work dependent on student activity sponsorship and special events such as an Open House.

Salary and BenefitsSalary: $47,000, commensurate with experience.
