Third Future Schools is a high‑achieving and growing network of charter schools. The network's school in Edgewater, Texas—Brentwood Middle School—seeks an Elective Physical Education teacher. Brentwood's Middle School teachers help students improve academic proficiency and build habits of success, creating a safe and orderly learning environment for students in their class and for all school students. They are supervised by the principal and assistant principal.
Classroom teachers receive extensive support: lesson plans, demonstrations of learning, and student assignments and activities are provided by expert curriculum developers. Teacher assistants make copies and grade papers for the teachers. Teachers have minimal duties, working only four days a month. The maximum salary for a teacher with three years of demonstrated achievement is $63,000.
